Ah, Sleeping with Cows. This was a work I just had to keep exploring and so it was natural to move from a painting to a quilt--I had to do it more than once! I am lucky to have fields of cows surround my home and studio.  I enjoy their lowing throughout the days and nights; they sound like big milky horns. I celebrate their companionship in this work.
