Big Fish started as a large oil on canvas.  I particularly enjoy using vigorous brush-work when I can be quite physical with a piece. Re-working or over-painting helps me find images and solutions that I might not have initially conceived. The content of this work is complex. You will notice that this reworking/re-designing still went on in the quilt.
